Copy 1717 of an assignment of £2000 by Robert Revell of Carnfield to Francis Revell of South Normanton clerk and Elizabeth Revell of Carnfield spinster (reciting the marriage settlement of Robert Revell late of Carnfield and Ann Wilmot 1689. Robert has died leaving issue by Ann; Robert his eldest son and heir, Francis and Elizabeth, and Dorothy since dead. Reciting also details of the will of John Harpur of Twyford (22 Apr 1712) by which £2000 was to be paid to daughter Dorothy on marriage; she had married Robert Revell who therefore has become entitled to the £2,000. His sisters wish to receive their portions of £1,000 each Robert assigns to Frances and Elizabeth the £2,000 bequeathed to Frances his wife, with power of attorney to receive the same. Quitclaim by the assignees to the assignor of the manors and premises so far as they are charged with payment of the £2,000 or the trusts. 29 Jun, copy 6 Aug
