Two copies, (one contemporary, one 19th cent) of a bargain and sale by Rt. Hon. Edmund Sheffielde's, Lord Sheffielde, to George Revell of Carlingthaite Hall, consideration £335, of the manor of South Normanton with woods, commons, waters and fishing's etc.; a messuage in South Normanton and Pinxton in the joint occupation of John Leighe and Edward Leighe; a messuage in the occupation of Richard Bonyngton, a messuage in the occupation of Nicholas Robynson the elder, a cottage in the occupation of Thomas Clifton, a cottage in the occupation of Henry Wilson, a cottage in the occupation of Roger Bennett and Lettice Bennett spinster, all in South Normanton; closes in South Normanton and Pinxton or one of them called Glyde Field now in the holding of John Leighe and Edward Leighe, closes in the same called Edlecrofte and Chapman Crofte in the holding of Richard Bonyngton; closes in South Normanton called Spirrye Fields in the occupation of Nicholas Robynson the elder, with deeds, court-rolls etc. Endorsed with notes on copyhold admissions, and extracts from the Red Book of the Exchequer concerning the descent of the manors.
