Exemplification of entry on the roll of the great court of Edmund Sheffield at Normanton recording the admission of Alice Bonyngton and Richard Bonyngton to a messuage with lands, to hold to them for their lives, yearly rent, and making repairs and other services as accustomed, and behaving well to the lord and his ministers (evidendum bone gesture erga dominum et omnes Ministros eius). Fine 20s. Richard does fealty and they are admitted tenants. Monday before Feast of St Bartholomew apostle. [20 Aug] 35 Hen VIII. Endorsed "Mary Revell writ" [? 18th Cent]
