Calverley Yorkshire, clothier, and Thomas Roberts of the same clothier 2) the same Matthew and Thomas, and other partners of the firm of Gaunt Clarkson Roberts and Co., 3) the creditors of the same (named) 4) trustees and inspectors (named) (reciting lease for 21 years dated 1823 between 1) Emanuel Haley of Hollin in Pudsey cloth dresser and mill owner 2) Joseph Wardman of Great Horton, Bradford Yorkshire, gent 3) Joseph, Matthew and Thomas, of the mill and machinery (described) at Smalewell in Pudsey, yearly rent £105, lessees insuring machinery for £1,000 and erecting a new boiler. The firm being in debt to the creditors, it is agreed that the firm remains lessees of the mill under inspectorship for the benefit of the creditors) assigning to the inspectors stock, machinery and other effects and debts in trust to permit the trustees to occupy the premises for the remainder of their term
