TitleDraft lease by Philip Henry, Earl Stanhope to Henry Marshall of Stanton by Dale, ironmasters, of all mines, veins, seams etc, of coal and ironstone within the parish of Stanton by Dale together with the ironworks and furnaces, for 21 years at 5s per dozen of ironstone raised and £50 for every acre beneath which coal is mined and a rent double the value of each acre which Marshall shall occupy as collieries, spoil heaps etc.
