Title	Lease by Henry 5th Earl of Huntingdon , Sir George Hastings of Grays Inn Middlesex), John Davenport of Burleigh Park (Leicestershire), esq., William Gouldingham of Grays Inn (Middlesex), esq and Robert Newton of Ashby de la Zouch, mercer, to Martin Lister of Ambrosden (Oxon), esq., Mathew Lister of London, doctor of physic and one of his Majesty's physicians in ordinary (his brother), in consideration of £2,400 to be used towards the payment of the Earl's debts, of the manor and castle of Melbourne with all appurtenant houses, lands, courts etc. (except the lands known as Ramsley Wood, enclosed within Donnington Park) and a close called Bennett Close (80 acres) and all lands etc., purchased by the Earl from Bryan and Henry Bewley, with part of the Greate Parke als. the Olde Parke at Ashby de la Zouch, known as the Wadd Land and the Wadd Land Meadowes and a capital messuage at Oakthorpe (Derbyshire, now Leicestershire) with appurtenant yard lands, other lands at Oakthorpe and an annuity of £5 2 s charged upon a capital messuage at Kirby (Leicestershire) upon closes of pasture known as Fox Close, Chettells Close and Lords Closenow with appurtenant yard lands, other lands at Oakthorpe and an annuity of £5 2s., charged upon a capital messuage at Kirby (Leicester shire) upon closes of pasture known as Fox Close, Chettells Close and Lords Close and a toft and 5 acres land at Kirby, for 52 years - covenant for production of title deeds and schedule of deeds 24th Jun
