Title
Letter from Robert Dickinson to 9th Earl of Huntingdon. Has made enquiries about the hounds Mr Justice Abney complains of at Ashby and finds that they have been disposed of except 5 or 6 puppies which Seth Bamford has - has also enquired about trees Abney cut down to improve the roads but none of the Packington tenants know anything except Mr Pressburn who wishes the Earl to take down the trees on the other side of the road to those he himself has removed so that he has a better view from his wilderness garden - 50 ash and oak would have to be removed but none are of any great value - will pay the Melbourne tenants £10 as requested, towards the great expense they are out to by the troublesome Mrs Membery, 9 Feb 1744
