Articles of agreement between Joseph Terrey of London, cooper, and William Hawkins of Burton upon Trent, co Stafford, gent, whereby Joseph Terrey agrees to convey to Hawkins before the end of the Michaelmas term next ensuing messuages in Hilton and Hawkins agrees to pay Terrey the sum of £550 and to discharge of debt of £300 due to John Botham of Clifton Campville, co Stafford, clerk. Appended is a receipt, dated 7 July 1712, by Joseph Terrey of the sum of £20 from William Hawkins, 24 May 1712
