Lease and marriage settlement by way of release between John Gisborne of pa Saint Werburgh, in Derby, esq, Ann Gisborne of the said parish, spinster and only surviving daughter of the said John Gisborne, John Chafy of Broad Chalk, co Wilts, clerk, and Gilbert Fox and Samuel Fox the Younger, both of the said parish of Werburgh, soap boilers, by which, in consideration of the marriage between Ann Gisborne has conveyed to Gilbert Fox and Samuel Fox the Younger a capital messuage and farm house, commonly called the Hall House, with its adjoining closes, farms and farm land or closes in Hilton, 14-15 Aug 1752
