DescriptionThis map is described in the Derbyshire Record Society's "A Catalogue of Local Maps of Derbyshire c.1528–1800" (compiled by Harold Nichols, revised by Mary Wiltshire assisted by Susan Woore, published 2012). The description reads as follows:

A Survey of an estate lying at the Holly Hurst in the parish of Marston Montgomery in the possession of Fra[anci]s Keeling [18c]. Scale: of 5 chains [1:4000]. Size:31 x 31 cm. Materials: coloured ink on paper. Centred on: SK144370 Notes: compass rose, north at top. Shows named fields with areas, 78 acres, house and barn in elevation, gates, 'Rigges lane' and 'The Rough': adjoining landowners named. Location: DRO, D157M/T3027
