Lease and counterpart marriage settlement between John Wood of Denstone in pa Rocester, yeoman and Mary his wife, and Robert Lownes of parish of Rocester, yeoman, by which, in consideration of the marriage already solemnized between John wood and Mary his wife and of the sum of £220, John Wood grants to Robert Lowndes and John Lowndes parcels of meadow ground in Denstone, parish of Rocester known as the Holmes containing by estimation about 10 acres, 4-5 Apr 1748
