Title
Memorandum that the consent and agreement of several of the principal landowners in the towns of Manchester and Salford for authorising the respective Overseers of the Highways of the said towns to repair the wooden bridge lately erected between the lands of the Warden and Fellows of the College of Christ in Manchester (held by lease from them by Doctor Sedgwick) and the lands of John Bury in Salford shall not be constructed to oblige the inhabitants of Manchester and Salford to repair the bridge or to prejudice the private right of the Warden and Fellows or John Bury, 16 Nov 1769
