Marriage settlement between Robert Archer of Rederisse, co Surrey, grazier, Margaret Blackborne of London, spinster, William Carter, citizen and cutler of London and Robert Alsop, citizen and grocer of London, whereby in consideration of a marriage shortly to be solemnized between Robert Archer and Margaret Blackborne, Archer grants to Carter a messuage in Scropton with the appurtenances, three orchards, garden and several parcels of land containing 21 acres, 20 Mar 1659/60
