Title
Lease and mortgage in fee by way of release by Samuel Rose the Elder, late of Hilton, cotton manufacturer, but now of Chellaston, victualler, and John Hill of Hilton, farmer to Henry Thomas Newton of Derby, hop merchant, in consideration of £200, of a small messuage and adjoining garden in Hilton, and four messuages recently erected by the said Samuel Rose upon ground which was formerly part of the garden belonging to the aforesaid messuage, with gardens containing altogether about one rood of land, 24-25 Mar 1825
