| Description | At a vestry meeting called on the 9 Nov 1755, it was unanimously agreed by the parishoners present on the one part and John Clay of Hardstoft in the parish of Ault Hucknall on the other part, that the said John Clay is to take & keep and dispose of Ishmael Clay of Hardstoft in every respect as a parish apprentice, though not bound. If the apprentice is returned before he attains the age of 24, he would be treated as a parish apprentice and bound as such to somebody else |
