The Very Reverend Lionel Ford was successively Headmaster of Repton (1901-1910) and of Harrow and was Dean of York from 1926-1932. His wife, born Mary Catherine Talbot, was a daughter of the Right Reverend Edward Stuart Talbot, successively Bishop of Rochester and Bishop of Winchester
