Articles of agreement between Thomas Slater of Chesterfield, apothecary, and Henry Harvey of Walton, husbandman, and John Ellis of Whitting- ton, husbandman. Harvey and Ellis to pay Slater £24, Slater to sell to Harvey and Ellis all coal they can get within 4 years from 1a land in a close called Silver Ice, all rubbish to be carried away - Harvey and Ellis to have liberty to burn coal, coke or cinders nearby
