This map is described in the Derbyshire Record Society's "A Catalogue of Local Maps of Derbyshire c.1528–1800" (compiled by Harold Nichols, revised by Mary Wiltshire assisted by Susan Woore, published 2012). The description reads as follows:
Wingerworth and Tupton belonging to Sir Henry Hunloke, Bart. By S. Brailsford. 1758. Surveyor:Samuel Brailsford. Scale: six chains in one inch [l:4800]. Size: 97 x 170 cm. Materials: watercolour on vellum. Centred on: SK383675 Notes: top of sheet SSW. Estate map with inclosures showing closes with reference numbers, areas and named freeholders: Hall site marked, Hall drawn in margin, park plan: church, south elevation: hedges, named woodland: notes 'inclosures ... numbered and figured ... red within Liberty of Tupton and parish of Northwingfield .. , enclosures [numbered in] black ... within parish of Wingerworth': decorative cartouche, coat-of-arms coloured.
