Description
'whereas by order of the Commons, Major Sanders was authorised to receive contributions from well affected persons, for raising a regiment of horse to be employed in Derbyshire and places adjacent, with authority to give public faith for the loans - being fully assured of the fidelity of Major Sanders to the Public Cause and having lent several sums for raising the said regiment, we pray that Major Sanders be continued in the full power of his former commission'.
