Description
Most items appear to have been collated for the purpose of an exhibition in 2002, and include the captions and labels from the exhibition.
1977 - two copies of a black and white photograph (one mounted) of the 75th Anniversary walk, featuring a group of mostly white men, women and children and black man and child (many are named). With a newscutting from the Derbyshire Times dated 29 April 1977, describing the four mile walk to Linacre, Old Brampton and featuring the same photograph.
1992 - two colour photographs of white men and women, and one child (both mounted), on the 90th Anniversary walk at Barlow (most are named), with caption and copy of the Summer 1992 programme (both also mounted)
1997 - two copies of a newscutting from Express Series - The Town's Independent Choice featuring a photograph of the committee, 1997. With colour copy of the same photograph
2002 - two copies of a colour photograph of white men and women (most named), including Dr David Hey, historian, speaker (d. 2016), at Chesterfield Hotel for the 100th Anniversary, with newscutting, and copy, from the Derbyshire Times, 7 March 2002
2020 - newscutting from the Derbyshire Times, 3 September 2020, concerning the closure of the club
