TitleLease and release by John Worrall of Ravensledge, Glossop, yeoman and Jason Worrall (second son and heir apparent of John and brother and heir at law of Thomas Worrall, deceased who was grandson and devisee of Edward Drink-water of Pigsworth, deceased) to John Waterhouse of Hayfield, yeoman. Edward Drinkwater devised to Thomas Worrall a moiety of a messuage and lands, charged with the payment of £5 each to Thomas's brothers and sisters, £30 to James Drinkwater, natural son of Edward's daughter Ellen, an annuity of 50s to Thomas Drinkwater, his son, in trust for Ruth Dakin, his granddaughter, £20 to the said Ruth and an annuity of 50s to Thomas Drinkwater, in trust for his daughter Ann, wife of John Worrall; a mortgage by John Worrall to Henry Pennee (1758) for £150 of the devised premises for a term of 1000 years and a further mortgage for £50 (1760) in consideration of £200 paid to John Worrall and £95 paid to Jason Worrall. Waterhouse has agreed to pay off the mortgage and to pay the above legacies and annuities, of a messuage at Ollersett, known as Ravensledge, with closes known as the Croft at the House, Upper Meadow, Lower Meadow, the Hole in the Bottom of Lower Meadow, the Croft at the Coat, the Wood, the Croft in the Wood, Lay Field, the two crofts below Lay Field, Broom-field, the Park, Upper Intack, Lower Intack and Little Meadow below the Intack (total 17 acres by the computation of Cheshire) 8 & 9 Apr
