TitleRelease to follow lease by Anthony Bradley of Kingswinford, Staffordshire, cider merchant (brother of Rev John Bradley of Hayfield, deceased and uncle of Sarah Bradley of Hayfield, deceased) to John Hague of Manchester, Lancashire, merchant reciting the will of John Bradley (1764) devising all his real estate and leasehold estate to his daughter Sarah Bradley and reciting that Sarah purchased the fee simple of two messuages and a close called Bottom Close; between Sarah and John Hague (1767) for the purchase by Hague for £3,500, of a newly erected messuage with closes known as Great Bottom and Marple Bottom, a cottage called Bottomhead House, a large messuage divided into 3 parts with closes called Schoolbank, Little Waterhey, Little Meadow, the Acre, Newfield, Great Waterhey and the two Boden Crafts, closes called Further Meadow, Elderdole Meadow, Further Leyfield (in 3 parts), Elderdole Field, further half of Middle Field, further half of Great Field and the barn, closes known as Great Meadow (in 2 parts), Nearer Leyfield (in 2 parts), nearer half of Middle Field, nearer half of Great Field, Littlefield and Broomfield with the barn, parcels of newly enclosed lands known as Coat Land and New Piece and a moiety of the herbage of the Pitts, all in Hayfield; and will of Sarah Bradley (1769) devising all her real estate to Anthony Bradley. Hague had agreed to accept a conveyance from Anthony Bradley in consideration of £722 paid to Bradley and of £468 to John Drinkwater and Thomas Howe, £103 10s to John Hadfield, £184 1s to Thomas Lowe, £359 14s to Samuel Frith, £120 7s to John Harrop, £40 to Ann Waterhouse, £17 12s to John Wood, £23 19s to Thomas Booth, £24 11s to William Garlick, £24 to Hannah Platt, £30 5s to Samuel Cliff, £23 18s to John Handford, £69 4s to George Brocklehurst, £23 11s to Edward Brocklehurst, £61 9s to Nicholas Goddard, £48 17s to Mary Redfearne, £93 12s to Thomas Drinkwater, £58 4s to John Brocklehurst, £82 5s to Henry Kirk as executor to Joan Gee, £48 to Elizabeth Marriot, £67 8s to Thomas Howe, £518 to Thomas Froggatt, £60 to John Brocklehurst, £60 14s to George Brocklehurst and £164 18s to George Morton (as creditors of John and Sarah Bradley), of messuages and land at Hayfield (as above) 2 May
