Title
Release by Ann Waterhouse of Chapel en le Frith, widow and devisee of Samuel Waterhouse of Risley, Lancashire, clerk, and Mary Higginbotham of Manchester, Lancashire spinster (heir at law of Samuel Waterhouse) Differences have arisen between Ann and Mary over the rents of part of the estates of Samuel and it has been agreed that Ann shall pay Mary £50 and Mary shall execute a bond to Ann to secure to Ann an annuity of £15 for life. A W releases a messuage at Phoside known as Haslehurst, with closes known as Great Field with Barley Croft, Stable Field, Shippon Field, Upper Field, Long Intack, Clough Round Intack, Spout Croft, Chindley Head Meadow, Chindley Head acre, Fishers Croft, Wicken Dole Meadow, Wicken Dole, the Roads, Barn Meadow, Farthe Meadow and Stubbs Two Intacks, for the life of Ann. 26 Aug
