Parish of Langley Mill St Andrew
Administrative History
Langley (Mill) was a township within the parish of Heanor, with a small part in Eastwood (Nottinghamshire). A chapel of ease to Heanor was built at Aldercar in 1870 (for records of this including some originally deposited along with those for Langley Mill see D2574).
The new church at Langley was built in 1912 and it became the parish church, with Aldercar as a chapel of ease. In 1987 the church became the centre for Anglican and Methodist Worship in Langley Mill.
