Description
Studio portait of Private Draycott, seated, in dress uniform.
A note on reverse states that Pte Draycott was wounded in action at Festubert on 18 May, and died of his wounds on 27 May 1915. This refers to William Henry Draycott. However in 2014, a family member confirmed the correct identity of the subject in the photograph.
