Title
Peter Nightingale at Lea to Brabazon Hallowes at Glapwell
Date
9 Jul 1782
Description
the road through Patchet to Dethick is undoubtedly a public bridleway and if stopped up, would be very inconvenient to me and others - I wish the question to be tried in a friendly manner - 3 or 4 weeks ago William Hallowes accosted me harshly for not asking leave to wash my sheep in the wash near Patchett - this has been a wash in Dethick and Lea since time immemorial'
