Title
Copy bargain and sale by Sir Water Ralegh [Walter Raleigh] of Colaton Raleigh (Devon), to Richard Wharton of Kingston (Notts) and John Hopkinson of Ashover, yeomen, of a messuage in Over Holloway in the tenure of Richard Wilkinson als, Wilkockson, a parcel of land called Dethick Hayes (16 acres) and a messuage at Tansley in the tenure of James Pidock, in consideration of £500 being parcel of the manor of Lea which was granted to Ralegh by the Queen, being part of the possessions of Anthony Babington and forfeited by his attainder
