Codnor Secondary (former Council) school managers’ Minutes

Description
The first Council school was the Infants school in Mill Lane (formerly a United Free Methodist school, for other records see D1040 C/E 43/1-13): a Mixed school was built in 1912, known as Whitegates. On reorganisation in November 1931, for former CE school was also included. In 1948, separate managing bodies for the Secondary and Primary schools were created. The Secondary school closed in July 1964
