Title	Abbreviation of charters relating to land in Wynefeld [North Wingfield]'. Roger Deyncourt gave to Welbeck Abbey all his land and meadow at Wynfeld with common of pasture in Lochagn [Locko] and his meadow in Winefeld (except the advowson of the church and the lands pertaining to Park-house), also the close of wood called Lanedigreve [Longreave, p Pilsley], his mill with the pond, the water Elnefordam and the new pond below Lengreve and the homage and service of William Deyncourt, his brother, and all other free tenants and serfs.

Description	See microfilm M130 vol 3. This item is copied into the Leake Cartulary on the page indicated in the RefNo field. The copy was taken from an original dating from the mid 13th cent. John de Eyncourt, rector of Wynefeld, brother of Roger, quitclaimed and confirmed the above lands to the abbey - the lands which William Deyncourt als. Basset holds of Welbeck Abbey in Winfeld that is all the land of Aluinwood with the closes known as Hungerstubbynge, Gernunstorth and the great close before the gate of Alinwood - John Deyncourt, rector of Winfeld, gave the abbey 3 bovates in Morton at 2s a year for 2 of them and 1 lb pepper a year for the other. - Roger Deyncourt, son of John Deyncourt holds of the abbey, the land of Alwinwood and a bovate in Winfeld by the service of 2d a year - he holds a bovate in Wynfeld and 18 acres land and wood John, rector of Wynfeld, gave the water of Elnefordam. The abbey agreed with Roger that it would not heighten the pond of Elford beyond its height at Easter 1246 - William de Hul of Topeton [Tupton] gave 1 acre in Topeton and quitclaimed 1 acre near the abbey's toft at Wynfeld - John Deyncourt gave a rent of 2d a year which had of the gift of William del Hul - John gave all the land which he had in the fields of Wynefeld and Topeton, given to him by Alice Sywyn
