Title
Agreement between William, Abbot of Welbeck and Hugh son of Alan de Dukmanton [Duckmanton]. Hugh to give the abbey all his title etc to 6 bovates at Dukmanton, of which Richard son of Hugh holds 1 bovate, Thomas Bonde 1 bovate (saving to Hugh 16d a year from the 2 bovates), Henry son of Gode 2 bovates, except toft and croft and Robert Bate 2 bovates. Also a close extending from Kyrke Lane in the east and butting on a close of Hugh's Purlewell- esyke with its meadow called Pyrlewell-esyk, a toft lying between the tofts of Roger son of Richard and John his brother 1 acre upon Salecroft by the land of the said Roger, 2 acres in Pytemannecrofte, 1 rood extending westwards and butting on Halleflat, 1 rood butting between Salecroft and Blacston Acre, a plot of meadow in Godwynesyke, butting on the lands of Hugh, in consideration of a quitclaim by the abbey of their title to a toft, croft and garden lying between the tofts and crofts of Richard son of Hugh and Henry son of Gode, and a close called Salecroft which lies by the lands of Hugh and butts on the way to Bollesover [Bolsover], which lands Alan, father of Hugh, once held with gift of 10 marks and a toft and croft held by Henry son of Gode.
