Gift by Richard [Peche], Bishop of Coventry [1161-1182], on the presentation of Henry II, to Newstead Abbey, of the church of Hoknall and the chapel of Rowthorn, revoking a charter to the abbey of [Croxden], Staffordshire of the right of presentation to the church. Witnesses: Master W. , Dean of Lichfield, Ralf and Philip, deans, Robert de Haia, Master Teuricus, Master Walter de Tilebra, chamberlain, W de Pleaslay, Ralf de Hamenhell, Robert de Hayncourt, Robert Malbes etc.
