Title
William Bruere senior gave to William Basset all his land of Newbold and Barley [Barlow] at a rent of 6d or a bow of arbour a year. , which rent Hugh Wak', who married the eldest daughter of William Bruere, released to the abbey - the chief lord granted to the abbey that they and their men be quit of suit of court and wapentake - Ralf son of William Basset gave Welbeck all his land in Newbolt and Barley with all his men etc, at a rent of 6d or a bow of arbour which the said Hugh released to the abbey.'
