TitleInspeximus and confirmation by Henry VIII, of a charter of Henry III granting to William de Gray, free warren in all his demesne lands of Sandiacre, Laundeford (Nottinghamshire) and Saxeby (Lincoln- shire), as long as the lands are not within the bounds of any royal forest, with grant of a market at Sandiacre on Wednesdays and a fair once a year, for 8 days on the vigil and day of St Giles and 6 following days [31 August - 5 September] - Witnesses, Richard, Earl of Cornwall, John de Plessis, Earl of Warwick, Master William de Kilkenny, archdeacon of Coventry, Peter Chaceport, Robert Walerand, Nicholas de St Maur, Robert le Norreys, Roger de Lokinton etc. Dated at Clarendon, 6 December, 37 Hy III [1252] - and of a charter of Henry III granting to Peter de Harestan free warren in his demesne lands of Sutton in Dale so long as they are not within the forest - witnesses, W Bishop of Ely, Richard de Clare, Earl of Gloucester and Hertford, Alan la Ruthe, William la Ruthe, Robert Walerand, William de Grey, Ralf de Bakepuz, Walkelin de Arderne, William Bouquet, William Gernon etc. Dated at Westminster, 6 January, 40 Hy III [1255/6] - to Sir Francis Leek. 20 Jan, 37 Hy VIII [1546]
