Description
Presentments as follows:
- For being absent from the Church three Sabboth days together: Francis Abell, John Abell, Christopher Abell, Thomas Padley and Darothy [Dorothy] his wife
- Taken as a wandring rouge [rogue] and whipers (also whipt): Edward Fernyley [?Fernilee] (sent to Heayfeild [Hayfield] the place of his aboad [abode] according to the Statute), Richard Humitt (sent away)
- For harboring of wandringe rouges and beggers: Thomas Brushfeild [Brushfield] of Grindleforth bridge [Grindleford]
- For keeping a common gameing howse: John Hallam of Foolowe [Foolow]
- For bruwing w[i]thout license: Nicholas Chapman, William Knowles, Alles [Alice] Kerferne widow, Alles Wood widow, John Gleden, Ann Ashe widow
