Indenture of lease between (1) John Walker of Codnor, yeoman, cousin and next of kin of Joseph Walker late of Loscoe, yeoman, deceased, son and heir of Thomas Walker late of Loscoe, deceased, who was son and heir of Thomas Walker late of Dale Abbey, yeoman, deceased, and (2) Christopher Oldknow of Kidsley Park, parish of Morley, yeoman.
In consideration of 5 shillings, for term of 1 year.
Dated 24 March 7 Anne 1707; by modern reckoning the year is 1708.
Parchment, applied seal at bottom, with signature of John Walker.
