DescriptionIndenture between (1) the Reverend John Simpson of Renishaw, parish of Eckington, clerk, and the Reverends John Griffith the younger, clerk, of Handsworth, county of York, devisees and residuary legatees in trust named in the last will of Marmaduke Carver late of Chesterfield, gentleman, deceased, and (2) John Owtram of Pratt Hall, parish of Brampton, yeoman.
Properties comprising 6 closes called the Street Lees (Coat Close, now divided into two closes, the Broad Meadow, the Little Close, the Fistley Close, the Lane and Lane Piece), two closes called the Weare Hay Close and the Mesne Close, and several closes of land called the Great Common, the Upper Common, the Little Common and the Sitch
In consideration of 10 shillings.
