Description
Workmen sign to agree to serve the company under the terms of the contract rules and regulations of the colliery.
Only the first page has been used, all trainees. On a couple of the unused pages, Mapperley has been entered as the colliery.
Columns for surname, Christian name, age, married or single, address, occupation, whether workman qualified to work alone under Section 73 of the Coal Mining Act 1911, whether workman had previously suffered from Miners' Nystagmus, whether workman had previously suffered from silicosis or pneumokoniosis, signature, date of signing, and witness.
Endboards missing.
