The first half of the book concentrates on the developments and costs of working the Deep Hard and Low Mains seams from 1933 with estimates on expenditure for 1937-1939; reports for specific time periods (more than fortnightly) from 22 Jan 1936 start on page 62. Some loose papers on yearly figures 1923-1939 have been inserted at the end of the volume.
