History
Marsden Street United Methodist Free Church was built in 1869 and was the main church of the Chesterfield United Methodist Free Circuit, which also included Pratt Hall, Hollins and Wingerworth churches. The churches ultimately joined the Chesterfield (Central) Methodist Circuit.
