Description
The position of Corporate Records Manager was created in 2005 and was held successively by Stewart Kirkup, Mike Thomas, David Jenkins and Mark Smith. These records are included among those of Derbyshire Record Office because, although the post was funded from an Information Technology budgets for its first few years, in practice the records management service has always been based at Derbyshire Record Office, albeit with a council-wide brief. Since 2017, the role description has also included management of the internal archives of Derbyshire County Council.
