| Title | Letter from Francis Agard to Mr Syrott |
| Date | 7 Feb 1570/1571 |
| Description | Thanking him for his support and "friendly dealing" in a dispute with a Mrs Griffiths, in which Agard claimed his copy tenancy of Bromley [? Kings Bromley or Abbots Bromley, both Co. Staffs] was violated and his inheritance impaired. Perceives from Syrott's letter that he has incurred displeasure because of his support. Asks him to acquaint himself with Mr Wastey and Mr Chambers and take their advice on how to defend his (Agard's) rights. |
