Identified on back in pencil in much later hand as "Sir Willingham Franklin"; also marked with address 47 Clarence Road. The portrait is unfinished or damaged and shows him with shoulder length hair, painted early 19th cent.
Mounted on card, with card frame (detached). Size including frame 27 x 33 cm, image size 15 x 19 cm.
