Description	This was a project involving Newton Carnival Group and Shirebrook Miners Welfare Junior Brass Band, in collaboration with musician Matt Anderson, to develop a performance piece for the Bolsover Children's Festival in 2002, combining brass band music with samba rhythms. The file includes draft/copy funding applications to the Music Maker fund of the National Foundation for Youth Music and the Neighbourhood Renewal Community Chest, budgeting and financial information, evaluation report, detailed timetable for training/drumming workshops, flyers advertising the workshops, final report for Music Maker.
