Description
Comprising:
1821. Marriage settlement prior to the marriage of James Holworthy of Barton in the Beans, (Leics), and Anne Wright of Derby. By this, Miss Wright conveyed to trustees Joshua Bruckshaw and William Simpson certain property in Derby and elsewhere, and Holworthy certain property at Barton in the Beans, to stated uses.
1839. Probate copy of James Holworthy’s will, leaving his own property, after the decease of his wife and Hannah Wright, to Matilda Shuttleworth, eldest daughter of Major Shuttleworth of Hathersage Hall.
1841. Probate copy of will of Mrs Anne Holworthy.
1844. Deed of purchase by Hannah Wright from Matilda Shuttleworth, of such proportion of the estate as Holworthy was entitled to (described in detail).
1856. Probate copy of will of Hannah Wright (Proved 1867).
