Description
reciting deeds of Williamson family back to 1725/6 and the deaths of persons named in the deed to declare uses of a fine, 1763 (see D779/T/6/3/3/9) and of members of the family of Benjamin Meakin or Williamson of Ockbrook and that 1. and 2. are now seised of the lands etc below, conveyed to 3. to be sold:- 2 messuages or messuage and cottage in possession of Joseph Botham and William Foster, close of pasture or meadow called Horse Doles containing 9 acres 1r 16p in part of one of the late open fields of Aston called Nether Field and meadow adjoining and allotted to Mary Meakin or Williamson upon inclosure in lieu of part of the 1½ yard land comprised in deed of 1725/6 (see D779/T/6/3/3/4) and 2 closes of ancient inclosed meadow or pasture called the Home Closes, according to a late survey including the site of the farmhouse, yard, garden, containing 9 acres 2r 12p, several pieces of arable now divided into three and called the Upper and Lower Cramlands and Hunckley? Hill in part of one of late open fields in Aston called the Cross Field containing 27 acres 2r 26p also allotted to Mary Meakin or Williamson upon inclosure, in lieu of remainder of 1½ yard land above mentioned, all in possession of Joseph Botham or Bottom and in Aston (giving names of former tenants)
