Feoffment by John Sauchewerell [Sacheverell] of Hopwell to John Ray chaplain of Aston s [upe]r Trent, his heirs and assigns, of 26d annual rent issuing from one piece next the messuage of Robert Smith in Aston and ½
acre at the end of the piece, which Joan Dobe holds for the said annual rent [?and] before held in Aston, which Sacheverell had by the gift and feoffment of Robert Smith of Aston, to hold from the chief lords of the fee for accustomed services.
Dated at Aston, Saturday after the feast of St James the Apostle [30 July] 3 Richard II.
Witnesses, Thomas de Stanton of Aston, Thomas de Weston of the same, John son of Hugh, Alan Porter, John Sweet, of the same and others.
