Description
In consideration of a marriage between Stanhope and Dame Katherine (usually spelt Katheren) , sister of Trentham, and his affection for her and their children, and that she may advance them as she thinks good, Stanhope and his heirs will stand seised of Humber holme or humber holmes in Osmaston and all other lands in Osmaston which he purchased from Richard Dale, and of all other properties in England which descended to him as nephew and heir of Sir Edward Stanhope doctor of law, to the use of himself and Dame Katherine and the heirs and assigns of Dame Katherine for ever.
