Description
For marriage between Henry son of Robert Houlden and Dorothy a daughter of Margaret Parker of Derby widow and of Joseph Parker late of Derby gentleman and for £600 paid for Dorothy's marriage portion, and to settle the premises in Henry's name and blood, of close of meadow or pasture ground called Humber holme or Humber holmes in Osmaston, Alvaston and Boulton, messuage in Mapperley called the head houses, closes in Mapperley called the Pease Hill, Sawe Closes, Cowe Close, Little Close, Sheepe Close, Sheepe Close Meadowe, Ley Close, great Pitt Close, Little Pitt Close and Meadowe Close, all formerly the inheritance of Richard Palmer esquire in trust to the use of Robert Houlden for life, then to the use of Henry Houlden and his heirs male, with remainder to Robert Houlden, his heirs and assigns, and with a proviso that if Robert, during his and Henry's joint lives should convey hereditaments of £80 clear annual value within Aston and Weston to uses as above, then the estate above limited to Henry and his heirs male should be void
