Title
Counterpart lease by Thomas Broughton Charlton of Chilwell Hall (co. Notts) esq. to Charles Gould and George Checkland of Leicester, coal merchants, and Jeremiah Eggleshaw of Marlpool, Heanor, coal master, of the Waterloo Coal lying under Heanor Common (60a 1r 4p), shown on plan annexed, with power to get the same, except any mines or beds of coal below or above Waterloo Coal, with other minerals, for term of 35 years, at £100 pa and £50 per acre of coal raised, over and above the yearly rent of £100; only the acreage rent payable in first two years, annual rent thereafter; lease to be determinable on six months notice, 29 Sep 1853.
