Mortgage by way of demise for ,1,000 by John Harris the elder of Ashford, yeoman, and Elizabeth his wife and John Harris the younger yeoman and Catherine his wife to Godfrey Heathcote of Chesterfield gentleman, by which Harris demised to Heathcote 1 dole in the Nether Field of Ashford, Mesne Stagfold, Beighton Stagfold Ox Pasture, 7a 2r in Sheldon Common (all in Sheldon see D770 C/EZ 15), for 500 years, redeemable on the payment of £1,022 10s on the 29 Sep 1777, and £22 10s 0d on 25 Mar and 29 Sep in each of the preceding years, 29 Sep 1767.
